Deepa Mehta

I am an urban planner and academic researcher. I am interested in questions of political economy. In my dissertation, I am writing about the privatization of the Indiana Toll Road from 2006 to 2015. This project traces how the financial industry, its financial mechanisms, and its investment practices shape infrastructure and urban and regional development.
